#ST_ART PROJECT SPRING SUMMER 2019
The fusion of A|X Armani Exchange with the world of street art continues in the fourth edition of the #st_ART project. Five figures have been selected from a new generation of artists on the international scene: illustrators, creative talents and digital artists who have described their personal vision of today’s urban and metropolitan culture through A|X garments.
The surrealist juxtapositions of objects of various natures and striking colours are the hallmark of Francesco Vullo’s work, which in recent years has focused on new means of representation: sculptures, installations and photographic prints.
Janice creates captivating images inspired by the world of fashion and beauty. She mixes forms taken from nature with geometric lines to create striking visual contrasts. The combination of these elements imbues her artwork with an emotionally charged feel.
Kentaro, who loves both traditional and digital drawing, specialises in hand-painted works of art: from large-scale murals to detailed watercolour paintings on paper.
Maggie Cole loves the feeling of nostalgia and takes inspiration from her emotions. Her work is based on traditional manual techniques, although she allows herself to be influenced by digital technologies, always with special focus and attention on posture and expression.
Whatisadam has a style reminiscent of vintage comics and pop art: he depicts the wildlife and landscapes of North America, re-imagining them with a contemporary, urban twist, while making use of recycled materials..
