CARMINE AMARANTE
After studying the fundamentals of cooking at a culinary school in his hometown, Naples, Carmine joined the kitchen teams of celebrated Michelin starred chefs such as Nino di Costanzo 2* and Martin Berasategui 3*. At the age of 28, he arrived in Japan as Executive Chef HEINZ BECK TOKYO, and just one year later his arrival the restaurant was awarded a Michelin star.
Carmine was appointed as Executive Chef of our restaurant in August 2020, and now he oversees the entire dining offer of all Armani Restaurants in Japan, including Armani/Ristorante Tokyo and both Emporio Armani Caffè Tokyo and Emporio Armani Caffè Osaka.
The menus he creates for Armani/Ristorante Tokyo harmoniously combine his pronounced originality with Italy’s culinary heritage and Japan’s finest seasonal ingredients and traditions.
