Shavon Shields, born in Overland Park, Kansas, on June 5, 1994, 2.01 mt. tall, small forward and guard, came to Milan in the month of July, 2020, from Kirolbet Baskonia.

2020/21 SEASON – He helped Olimpia win the Supercup by averaging 10.3 points per game, he then hemped the team win the Italian Cup and averaged 9.0 points per game. In Munich, EuroLeague, made the winning three-pointer with nine seconds left in the overtime. He set his new career-high of 34 points when Olimpia defeated Bayern in Game 5 of the EuroLeague playoffs. He also had 41 of index rating, another personal best, like the 11 free throws made in that game. He was named the EuroLeague MVP of the week. In the Italian league, ha set his personal best of points (35), three-pointers (seven) and rating (37) in a win over Virtus Bologna.

His career

Raised in Olathe, Kansas, where he attended the Northwest High School, Shields has been the Sunflower conference MVP as a senior at the end of a career in which he finished as the first in school history for points, rebounds and steals. In 2012, he landed at the University of Nebraska, where he stayed four years and finished as the all-time fifth scorer. In 2015/16, he averaged 16.8 points per game and was selected in the All-Big Ten Conference second team.

In 2016/17, he played for the Frankfurt Skyliners, before moving to Trento for the playoffs.
He played two seasons in Trento, playing the Italian league finals twice. In 2017/18, he averaged 14.3 points per game in Italy. In 2018 he signed for Vitoria, where he made his EuroLeague debut. He averaged 9.6 points per game in 59 appearances.

He won the 2020 Spanish championship.
